Welcome to my new web page. Here I am at the bottom of my garden in Shoe Cove, Newfoundland a year ago. Our cliffs in Hollow Cove edge the north Atlantic Ocean. In winter there is ice clinging to the cold 300 foot high cliffs, not to ignore the “slob” ice in streels on the ocean surface. I had come down to photograph the patterns of ice and met Gerald Vaandering, a neighbour artist friend, who took this photograph of me. A painting of Hollow Cove Ice is on my front page ……… so come and have a look.
